Property check
Everything public about a Swiss address: the building, its flats and the location. Plus an indicative value for any flat or house, from local prices by Geoda.
Open data, honest ranges.
Building facts come from official open data, prices from Geoda. Where there are too few prices to learn from, the check shows the facts and leaves the value out instead of guessing.

Is the property check free?
Yes. It's free, needs no sign-up and we don't store the addresses you look up or the results.
Where does the building data come from?
From the Federal Register of Buildings and Dwellings (GWR), run by the Federal Statistical Office. Municipalities keep it up to date, so year built, flats, living areas and heating are usually right, but small differences to the real building are possible.
Where do the prices come from?
From Geoda, a Swiss property data platform. Geoda tells us the average asking price per m² for flats and houses around the address. We turn that into a range for the flat or house you choose, adjusted for its size, floor, age and condition. The address is only sent to Geoda when you ask for a price.
Why is there no value for my address?
Where Geoda has too few listings nearby, there is no local price level yet, and we leave the value out instead of guessing. We also only give values for residential buildings. The building facts work for every address in Switzerland.
How accurate is it?
It's an indicative range of about ±25 to 30%, based on asking prices, not an appraisal. View, layout, finishings and the micro-location can move a price a lot, and we can't see them. For a sale, a mortgage or an inheritance, ask a certified appraiser.
What does the public transport class mean?
The Federal Office for Spatial Development rates every location from A (very good) to D (basic) by how often trains, trams and buses run nearby and how far the stop is. Locations below D have little or no public transport.
